If it happens again I'll uninstall that mod and hope not too much scrapped trash returns and that what returns is scrappable again. and had to use 'ctrl-alt-del' to get out of the game. I installed a mod (ThisIsTrash) that solved both problems right after having installed the mod, but now I have severe temporary frame drops (to around one fps) and freezes and had a lock-up twice when in WorkShop mode. I had a problem scrapping stuff at the RRTS along with a mod that repairs the name's lettering that didn't work. Or there's a conflict somewhere that you solve with the addition of another mod that in turn causes another problem.
That's often the problem with mods, that they only show problems when they come into play. A certain settlement mod may cause a problem but you'll only notice when having found the place and activated its WorkShop. Thought we had it pegged there, with the follower, but it definitely sounds like that's not anywhere on the mark. Correction: I have installed the AFT mod for a short while to test something for someone but this is a new install and a brand-new game. Thanks I absolutely dislike the companions/follower thing and have never ever installed a mod that enhances their ability to keep screwing-up my good mood.
